Shrimp, scallops, and white bean soup












I got this recipe from NY Times cooking site during the cruise to Norway. I'm going to get out of my cooking rut by fixing two new recipes each week during March. 

I added a couple slices of baked bread, toasted but no butter. 

I added a little starch to thicken up the liquid. The recipe calls it a stew, maybe next time I'll start with a réaux.
