I spent last week on the road.
I traveled up to Montgomery, which I continuously called Mobile when I told my traveling story - no idea why.
Upon exiting Mobi...I meant Montgomery I headed east toward former territory, staring straight ahead as I passed by familiar exits on the Interstate.
I ended up north of Wilmington and spend three days with my son and his wife.
On Friday, son, and I ventured out in search of liquid and solid solace, as my Bulldogs we outmatched the previous evening by a Bigger, Faster, and more Talented opponent.
On this Friday we gain our solace in the form of Lobster and Beer - chased down by more beer and Rum with Orange Juice.
Nothing squashes down the bitter pill of a season opening defeat like sunshine, Lob-Stuh rolls, and Beer...with family.
