We spent the day in Bergen, before cast off at 3pm local time. I took an early morning bus tour of the city. Dark, rainy, and chilly seems to suit me. It’s a nice town with a long history. The tour guide is originally from France, he came as an exchange student 6 years ago and now works in the tourism industry…it is a global interconnected world.
Dad forgot to pack an essential item, so I got to make a couple walking tours of my own to Pharmacies, and fortunately found what he needed in the last place I looked; isn’t this always the case.
The Canada Goose red jacket is heavy and warm. I had to remove layers-LOL.
We cast off promptly at 3pm and worked our path to the sea. The ship is big, but not huge. It’s a floating nap fest for many. I’m one of the youngest aboard, but not the youngest, but definitely in the bottom 2%.
So far, it’s been relaxing.
