Watching the wind

 This is the Alta harbor in Norway, I’m sitting in the Explorer’s Lounge on Deck 7. And while I am not an explorer, I feel I am an Adventurer. One of my adventures is learning. I have realized the more new things I learn, there become more connections I can make, and thus I learn something else. Learning something new causes you to realize something you never before understood. 

This picture shows water, but what else? It shows wind, wind gusts, and the wind’s direction. It likely also shows me things I don’t yet know how to see  Learning to sail has taught me to look for wind, looking for wind has showed me how I can sail smarter. Sailing smarter will teach me to be a better sailor.
