Assasins

The organization has existed for generations, stretching back to a time before the Church and false prophets subjugated women to lesser roles and fairer pursuits. It is kept alive, vibrant and connected by recruitment – daughters by their mother, nieces by aunts, cousins by cousins, and then repeating. Members can trace their family’s legacy in the oral traditions shared by their mentor, which they learned from their mentor, and so on. The origin-story of the First5 is told in every member’s lineage, as each is from one of these original five assassins.

 

The First5 came together in support of one. A simple, yet well-conceived plan removed a danger from their village and began a line of stories and fears the group believes is causa principal for the Wolfman tales and creatures who prey at night. The truth behind that first act is the nature of wild animals to gnaw and spread the body of any man left dead in the wilderness, from a crushing rock blow to the skull. Through the generations their methods have evolved. Science, education, and training have honed their skills, but every kill has these two traits of the original, a man and a plausible death.
