Family - Opportunity

I have the opportunity to watch the sun set into the Gulf of Mexico on a regular basis - which makes me incredibly lucky. I have done nothing to earn this opportunity, rather it's a birth right because my parents own a beach house.

I have had the opportunity to go, do, and see a great many different and interesting places. I have hobbies and interests that vary, often times by year.

I wonder from time to time if all these opportunities and interests are a byproduct of a single thing. We are all influenced by our upbringing, it enables us to make decisions with insight.

I had a fortunate upbringing - and I have chosen to make the most of it.

I hope my children feel like they had the same, and do likewise
